Beebalm

Block print on cotton

Beebalm, not Beebomb as I thought as a kid, is a flower I hold close to my heart. My Grandmother planted heaps of it in her wild gardens, and it would be a sea of red spikes in the hot summers. We would sit on the porch and look out at the garden, exclaiming when we’d seen the little hummingbirds flit around. They loved the Beebalm, which made me love this strange spiky floof.
